PH-ALI was the first DC-3 outside the United States, arriving in Rotterdam by ship in October 1936, months before PH-ALH. Although we are not certain, this looks like the scene at Schiphol after the aircraft first arrived there on 13 October, flown by John Scholte. The name Ibis is applied on the nose, but difficult to see. First revenue flight to Paris on 13 November. Served on Indies route until 1939. Was in England on 10 May 1940 and entered service on BOAC's Bristol - Lissabon route as G-AGBB. Police EC135s are regularly based at Rotterdam

One of the first two Airbus H225Ms was already delivered to the Ecuadorian Army and arrived today at its new home base, La Balbina, after spending more than two weeks on test and instruction flights in Guayaquil. Soon its sibling will join him here. Finally, after a long time, the Ecuadorian Aviation Army fleet receives a new aircraft!! Hopefully the other 3 H225Ms that were bought will arrive to Ecuador as well in the following months. Former F-WWOK, C-GMJI, PR-BGK, M-ABKH, YR-1ZD, YR-ZZD, not taken unit for the Ukraine National Guard and finally arrived to Ecuador with test reg F-WMXQ.

Under restoration at Planes of Fame Air Museum. This Airacobra was taken on charge by the USAAF with s/n 42-4949. It served in Alaska during World War II. The long length of the rear-retracting, non-steering nosewheel can be seen. The gaps in the wing root are for the oil cooler and radiator intakes. The automobile type door frame is visible. This model was fitted with the V-1710-85 engine and a slightly larger Aeroproducts propeller, but it made little difference to the low top speed, rate of climb and poor performance at higher altitudes.

On 26 June 1974 the aircraft hit a blast wall with its left wing severely damaging the outer part of the wing. The Caravelle was subsequently declared damaged beyond repair and scrapped. Photographer unknown
