Manufactured by the Goodyear Zeppelin Corporation, hence the 'GZ' c/n prefix. NC7A was the first Model TZ airship, and the first FAA permanent licensed airship. It was based in Miami. Here it is employed in giving sight-seeing rides over the 1933-34 World's Fair at Chicago along with sister airship NC14A. (Print date stamped 30 August 1933.) The registration was cancelled on 21 September 1938 for unknown reasons.

Deutschlandflug (German Air Rally), late August 1933. 126 planes competed, of which almost two-thirds were Klemm L 25s, L 26s and Kl 32s. In the background are Junkers of Lufthansa. All the planes already wear the black, white and red flag on the right and the swastika flag on the left side as decreed by the new Nazi regime on 6 July. The odd one out is the Heinkel HD.22 bottom right, which was bought by the US Army for the military attaché in Berlin with serial 30-420! Photo from: Nationaal Archief (Netherlands)
