Returned to SAS as LN-RLD rather than LN-RLR on 01 Apr 1972. To Northwest Airlines as N763NW on 08 Jul 1991. To Delta Air Lines on 28 Oct 2008. WFU 31 Dec 2010. Stored at Sanford, FL on 03 Jan 2011. Later scrapped.

Over from Gatwick to do some flights for British Airways. Delivered to BOAC as G-ARRA on 16 Feb 62. To British Airtours on 29 Oct 1976. WFU and stored at Stansted in Nov 1980. Bought by Europe Aero Service and stored Perpignan Mar 1981. Bought by Coastal Airways as N4465D in Aug 1983 but destroyed by fire at Perpignan on 13 Oct 1983.

Flypast over Valletta as the County-class destroyer HMS London (D16) was leaving Grand Harbour after the final closure of the British bases on 31 March 1979. The Nimrod was also the last British military aircraft to leave Malta at the end of the base era.
