Recently TK introduced an A320 in this retro colourscheme, so I decided to upload the original one on a rare series -10 DC-10.

Outside the shed containing Nick Grace's Firefly AS6 WD833. It was later displayed at the Booker Aircraft Museum. The fuselage was last reported in a sorry state at Barnes Airport, Springfield, Mass. This is the former WV495 carrying maintenance serial 7697M. The code is P-C which is carried on the starboard side, but common practice was to reverse the code on the other side of the aircraft as seen here.

Ex Strathallan, intended for restoration to fly but sold to the USA in 1984, and registered as N833WD in 1989. Parts of the airframe are believed to have been used in the restoration of WB518 (N518WB/201-K). The remains are currently in Nevada, and may yet be rebuilt to flying condition.
