Founded in 1971 as an air taxi operation, Teuto Airways entered into cargo operations in 1997. They changed their name to TAG City-Air in 2000 and ceased operations in Feb 2004.

'Miss Karon' joined Woods a year before the photo was taken. She was bought by Everts Air Fuel in May 2003 and subsequently flown to Texas for rebuild. Eventually Everts Air Cargo put her in cold storage at Fairbanks after many years of work. She was still there early in 2017.

Starting up for another mission, this magnificent fire bomber was completing her nineteenth year of service with T & G at the photo date. She began her career in 1957 with Delta airlines and received that company's classic livery again after the summer of '99. Ten years later I saw her like that down south with International Air Response at Coolidge, AZ, where she still resides.
