Although registered in Latvia, this classic is based at Birrfeld in Switzerland. The aircraft is named "Rusalka" and owned by Jean Vögelin of the Antonov Club Avianna. It was delivered from Lithuania to Switzerland on 30 Sep 2007.

Photographed at this angle demonstrates why this Reliant is nicknamed "Gullwing". Stefan Ulrich Kühlbrey flies this rare 1937-built Stinson from its base at Stuttgart-Pattonville in Germany. It carries nice "Gullwing Airlines" titles (which is not and never was a genuine airline), and an equally nice period "Stinson Power since the Year 1937" logo.

Built by SNCAN in France in 1946, for the French Air Force. This Stampe came to Germany in 1982. The four names "Gerd Mario Günter Holger" on the fuselage are the first names of the co-owners: Gerd Mätz, Mario Frenk, Günter Rauscher and Holger Steindorf. They have owned this lovely aircraft since 1992.

Oldest flying Messerschmitt in the world. First flight as D-IBHS on 28 Mar 1937 and delivered to the Luftwaffe (coded "RC-YZ" by 1944). Seized by the RAF in France in 1945 and serialled VH762 in Jul 1945. To F-BBRH in 1948, cancelled 4 Dec 1958 on export to Denmark. Restored to flying condition and became OY-AIH on 29 Oct 1960. Flown as Luftwaffe "RC-YZ", last flight circa 1996. Cancelled 10 Jul 2003 on export to Germany. To D-EBFW on 14 Aug 2003, first flight as such 1 Apr 2004. Now owned by Benno Herrmann, Franz Kerzendorf, Tine Kirchberg and Hans Jürgen Storck, and flying out of Reichelsheim. Registration D-IBFW is fictious, reportedly used by a 1937 factory Taifun demonstrator.

Stephan Gottwald brought his rare 1932-built Waco to Hahnweide, from its home base at Lauterbach in Germany.

"Miss Goosebay" is Uwe Förster's aircraft, delivered to the USAAF as AT-6C 42-43899 on May 3, 1943. In 1949 it was rebuilt as T-6G, and received new serial 49-3357. It went to the Spanish AF in 1957 as E.16-109, where it served until sold in auction in 1984. It then became N6593D in 1990 and underwent an extensive restoration in 1994-1997, as a "Super 6" modification with a 3-bladed prop. In the summer of 2000 the Texan came to Germany, where it now flies out of Bayreuth. The serial 493357 is carried in very small print below the tailplane.

Now owned by Christophe Brunelière and flying out of Avignon, France, this Skyraider was delivered to the US Navy as Bu127002 in 1951. Ten years later it was transferred to the French Air Force (keeping the same serial), in which markings it is still flying today.

Immaculate Polish 1978-built sprayer aircraft, registered to Interflug in 1979 as DDR-TAB and still flying in their colours. Became D-FOAB after the re-unification and is now owned by Dieter Gehling. It normally flies out Stadtlohn.

Fritz Koldehofe owns the only flying Dromader Mini in the world. Only two were built, and the other resides in a museum. This very rare aircraft is based at Rotenburg-Wümme in Germany.

Owner Jacques Habert flies his Warhawk "Little Jeanne" in its authentic WW2 markings. Former USAAF 42-105915 is now based at Melun-Villaroche in France.

Built by CCF in Canada in 1942, and salvaged from a Canadian farm in the 1990s. Then brought to the UK where restoration to flying condition began in 2005. It first flew on 27 January 2009 and is now owned by Peter Teichman as part of North Weald's Hangar 11 Collection.

A nice replica of the famous aircraft flown in the Summer of 1917 during the first World War by Manfred von Richthofen, aka the Red Baron. Built by Josef Koch in the late 1980s and first flown on 7 March 1989, it is now part of his Fliegendes Museum at Grossenhain in Germany.

Although wearing serial 44-11622 and the markings of Leonard "Kit" Carson, pilot of the 362nd Fighter Squadron, 357th Fighter Group, "Nooky Booky IV" is in fact the former USAAF 44-74427 and RCAF 9592. It flew in the US as N2251D for almost 40 years, before coming to Nîmes, France in December 1999 with its new owner Jean-Claude Beaudet. It is now part of the Amicale Jean Baptiste Salis Association at La Ferté-Alais.

This replica of the forrmidable Fokker D.VII from the first World War was built by Mikael Carlson using an original 200hp 6 cylinder Daimler Mercedes D.IIIaü engine and only original parts. It first flew on 10 April 2011 and is based at Mikael's private airstrip at Kvarnhem, Sebbarp in Löberöd, Sweden. Mikael also flew his original 1918 Blériot XI at the Hahnweide show.

The Nord 1002 is basically a Messerschmidt Bf.108D Taifun with a Renault 6Q engine, built post-war by SNCAN. This particular aircraft was built in 1945 and is now owned by Joachim Schulz and based at Schwenningen in Germany.

This Nord N.1101, a French-built Messerschmidt Me.208, is owned by Robert Roger. It took him 9 years to restore, from 1991 until 2000. It is now based at La Ferté-Alais in France.

Nice glider seen at its home base. This side-by-side two-seater glider with open cockpit was built in 1948 and delivered to the RAF on 27 Sep 1949 as WB935. It served with the Air Cadets in the UK until sold in Aug 1986. It was exported to Germany in 1994 and restored to flying condition. At the time the RAF forbade the use of "Air Cadets" titles in Germany, so owner Martin Konermann changed them to "Fair Cadets". Other than that it still carries its original markings and serial, and now forms part of the Fliegenden Museums Hahnweide.

Visited with sistership OK-XIG. Both aircraft carried the same markings, with a large "Heritage of Flying Legends - Czech Republic" logo on the rear fuselage. This registration was previously used on a CSA Tu-134.

Designed in 1927, but licence-built in Poland in 1954. Fully restored in 1984 and now owned by Tamas Rohacs and based at Budaörs in Hungary. Has "Goldtimer Alapítvány - Budaörs" titles on this side of the fin, and "Közlekedési Múzeum - Budapest" on the other, meaning Goldtimer Foundation and Museum of Transportation respectively.
