Due to budget constraints, only two of three planned Squadrons initially flew the CF-5s and this one was delivered straight to storage April 7, 1970. Pictured with 434 Squadron and a toned down fin participating in Maple Flag exercises. The fighter was withdrawn March 24, 1992 and gradually disassembled for spares.

Canadair Built Freedom Fighter that was in service with the Canadian Armed Forces from August 5, 1969. 116824 was one of the last operational CF-5s, placed in storage by June 1995. Leaving the Mountainview, ONT storage facility in July 2011, it entered the US Registry as N824LG on January 30, 2012. The aircraft is current with Fast Jets Llc at the time of uploading.

Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment Tutor that crashed on approach to CFB North Bay on May 1, 1991 after the engine failed; the crew ejected safely.

Later with the Georgia Air National Guard, this early Eagle was retired to AMARC Mar 4, 1992.

Later sold to Carson Helicopters as N4263A after Air Force service.

Black distemper added for Maple Flag excercises. Written off 4 months later after a wake encounter caused uncontrolled pitch up at low altitude; both crew ejected.

Taken on strength September 3, 1963 as 12652 from Lockheed ( While Canadair built 200 single seat CF-104s for the RCAF, the 22 dual CF-104Ds were purchased directly from Lockheed). Allocated to the Aerospace Engineering and Test Establishment, CFB Cold Lake, Alberta and after July 28, 1790, serialed 104652. Relegated to an instructional airframe as 823C March 23, 1984 and later displayed at Canadian Forces Command and Staff College in Toronto.

The first new build Martel capable Buccaneer delivered in 1968, XV352 flew first with A&AEE Boscombe Down for weapons trials. Photographed at Cold Lake participating in Maple Flag exercises, it would later be a Gulf War veteran (Operation Granby). Retired with the rest of the Buccaneers in 1994, it was scrapped. The nose section was saved, however and it's presently on display at the RAF Manston History Museum, Kent.

A new build 707 delivered to the USAF in 1978. It was later converted to an E-3B.

The Canadian Air Force used five different aggressor color schemes on a few of their CF-5Ds. This 419 Squadron aircraft is one of two painted in the "lizard" scheme, but the only one that wrapped around the underside. Delivered December 9, 1968, is was withdrawn and stored in 1994. It's displayed in front of the Ordnance Museum in Montreal, Quebec at the time of uploading.
