As from 2001, the Indonesian AF took delivery of twelve EC120, HL-1201 being the first one. Replacing the Bell 47 as the TNI-AU's basic helicopter trainer, all Colibri's for years were operated by Skadron Udara 7 only. However, to better separate operational from training duties, a dedicated helicopter training squadron was inaugurated on September 1, 2022 ("Skadron Pendidikan 105"). The TNI-AU's helicopter display team "Dynamic Pegasus" also performs on the Colibri, temporarly drawing four helis from the two squadrons. The entire EC120 fleet is based at Kalijati / Suryadarma AF Base (WHIK).

Indonesia started to receive an initial batch of four Block 15 F-16B's (serialled TS-1601 through TS-1604) and eight F-16A's (TS-1605 through TS-1612) under the Peace Bima-Sena FMS program in late 1989. TS-1603 shown here carried US FY # 87-0723 and was written off after a landing accident in Thailand on March 14, 2017. The writing on the LH underwing auxiliary fuel tank translates to "the unitary Republic of Indonesia is undisputed". As from 2017, the remaining F-16A/B's have undergone a mid-life update and at the same time received a new two-tone grey camo.

Registered as G-BIFG before delivery to LAPA as LV-OJG in 1980. Traded in to SAAB as N487NS in 1987 then to Skyport as VH-HUS in 1987, Chartair in 1993 and Air Tiwi in 1996. To Sunflower Airlines as DQ-SUN in 1999 then Deraya Air Taxi as PK-DSB in 2000. Has probably been withdrawn from use.

Registered as G-BBYF before delivery to Pelita Air Service as PK-PSM in 1974. To Indonesian Directorate of Forestry in 1985 then to Gatari Hutama Air Service as PK-DJK in 1989. Renamed to Gatari Air Service in 1991. Sold as N46LH in 2004 then to Skydive Arizona in 2012.

Registered as G-BBUS before delivery to Pelita Air Service as PK-PSJ in 1974. To Deraya Air Taxi as PK-DSU in 1983. Sold as VH-CHK then to Pink Aviation Services as OE-FDP in 2010. Withdrawn from use at Klatovy, Czechia in 2019.

The first eight indonesian AF T-50's (serialled TT-5001 through TT-5008) - of a total of sixteen delivered - have initially worn this blue and yellow paint scheme. It appears that the TNI-AU planned to revive with those aircraft the "Elang Biru" display team, which was active between 1995 and 2000, flying F-16A's from Squadron 3 in the very same colors. The revival plans never materialised though and by now, all remaining T-50's wear a green / grey camo livery as per picture ID 417716. "TT" stands for "Tempur Taktis" or Tactical Fighter.
