On the second day of the flying programme, this pair gave a very wild display. Here, they had just recovered from what seemed a not too stable formation barrel roll. The following displays were considerably less exciting, and higher. Their commander may have pointed out he needed the pilots and aircraft after the show as well. On the second day of the flying programme, this pair gave a very wild display. Here, they had just recovered from what seemed a not too stable formation barrel roll. The following displays were considerably less exciting, and higher. Their commander may have pointed out he needed the pilots and aircraft after the show as well. The number two, without wingtip launcher rails, is 3-7368 (۳-۷۳۶۸).

Looking very smart after revival from six years of storage in Tehran. Sahand (Asia) Airlines acquired two MD-82s and an MD-83 via Ukraine for charter operations, starting as leases in 2011. A year later, all were stored for lack of work. All registered in Iran meanwhile, two of them were taken into operation again in 2018. It appears that second try also lasted no longer than one year.
