On a cross-country overnight stop is this RCAF Harvard II. Call-sign "Bandit 45".

Arriving on a cross-country flight from Vancouver via Tofino (CYAZ) is this CT-156 trainer using call-sign "Apollo10". It was the first delivered and about 20 years old at date of uploading.

Parked at the Shell FBO itinerant parking are these Harvard II (Texan) trainers on a weekender from their Moose Jaw base. The nearest was the first of type seen, at Regina/SK back in 2000. The other two are 156114 and 115.

Canadian Forces CT-155, CT-156 and CF-188 aircraft commonly use the Shell FBO for weekend itinerant parking as here. This Hawk Mk.115 was originally built in 2000 with RAF serial ZJ679 and delivered to Canada in 2001.

The CT-155 Hawk flying at Airshow London 2022 was flown by an experienced instructor from the Republic of Singapore Air Force (with 1,000+ hr on Hawks), which trains its fighter pilots in Canada. The CT-155 is operated by the NATO Flying Training in Canada (NFTC) program, which is managed in partnership with CAE Military Aviation Training. CT-155s are operated by the 2 Canadian Forces Flying Training School at CFB Moose Jaw, SK and 419 Tactical Fighter Training Squadron at CFB Cold Lake, AB. The Hawk is a transitional aircraft between the Beech CT-156 Harvard II trainer and the CF-188 Hornet.

The NATO Flying Training in Canada (NFTC) acquired 26 Beech CT-156 Harvard II turboprop trainers (Serials 156101-156126) which started replacing the Canadair CT-114 Tutor in 1999. New RCAF student pilots take their Primary Flight Training on the Grob G 120A at the 3 Canadian Forces Flying Training School (3 CFFTS) conducts Students take their at the Southport Aerospace Centre near Portage la Prairie, MB. The CT-156 is used to teach the Phase II Basic course at 2 CFFTS at CFB Moose Jaw, after which students will be streamed into the different platforms (jet, multi-engine, or helicopter).
