This fabulous old-timer is pictured about to touch down on rw16R. Honeywell's expertise is found throughout Boeing's airliners; from the APU at the back to the FMC at the front so not surprising they have a facility at PAE where their test aircraft can be seen.

Originally a United Airlines Convair 340 delivered September 2, 1962, this aircraft has been with Allied Signal Corp, an American aerospace, automotive and engineering company as a Convair 580 since 1992. First registered N580AS, the registration changed when Allied Signal bought Honeywell in 1999 and the company adopted their name and identity.
