This very interesting piece of aviation history is a conversion of Gyrodyne G-AJJP and first flew, in its new configuration, at White Waltham (EGLM) in January 1954. It was initially allocated the serial XD759, but this was later changed to XJ389 due to duplication.

TA122 is one of the few FB Mk.IVs built at Hatfield as FB.VI, entering RAF service with 605 Sqn in March 1945. It was SOC in June 1950 in Germany and stored at RAF Celle as a spare source. The airframe was used for student instruction at the Delft Technical University in the Netherlands from 1951 to 1964 but, unfortunately, the wings were destroyed in 1958. Acquired by first RNAF Museum in 1978 and then by the de Havilland Museum for restoration, which used wings from Sea Mosquito TR.33 TW233 retrieved from Israel. This hangar contains the world's largest collection of surviving Mosquitos.

Originally XP511 before being transferred to a ground instruction role along with many other former 4 FTS Gnats, at No. 1 SoTT, RAF Halton. Later sold in the USA as N6145X but no longer on the US Register.

Later upgraded to MR.2. Hit birds on take-off and lost power; crashed 1 mile West of Kinloss 17 November 1980; 20 persons on board, of which two fatal.

Delivered to RAF 28 May 1958; SOC 20 September 1976 at No.19 MU St Athan; scrapped.

Prince Bernard had himself celebrated in several cities on his birthday and then flew off from the highway near Schiphol - war damage was so extensive that the runways were unusable. The aircraft wears a pseudo RAF registration with ML presumably standing for Militaire Luchtvaart. Built in 1934 it was orginally F-AMXO and made a flight to Madagascar. To PH-VYG in 1937. Requisitioned by Dutch army as 961 in 1939. Hidden away for the Germans and 'seized' by Bernhard in 1945. To PH-NCP. Landed in East Germany on a flight to Copenhagen in 1948. Officially 8623M but I don't think this was worn. Later sold in the USA as N533XP and still current as such in 2023.

Formerly XR953. Later sold in the USA as N953RH but this registration was cancelled in August 2013.
