This Top Aces Alpha Jet is ex RAF ZJ656 and Luftwaffe 4140. Here it is arriving from CFB Cold Lake as "Cheeta 22" with special tail markings celebrating 100,000 operational hours flying for the Canadian, German and U.S. miltary. Aircraft types depicted are the Learjet 35, Alpha Jet, Douglas A-4 and F-16.

Registered in February 2020 and is ex RAF ZJ656 and Luftwaffe 4140. It arrived here yesterday from CFB Cold Lake followed by three others. They all went out on a military cooperation exercise today along with two Lear Jets.

After service with the US Marines as 17140 it is here, on a snowy frosty dawn, en route from storage at Davis-Monthan to Toronto (CYYZ) where it was registered as C-FALL to Air 500.

Two weeks after Lindbergh's solo flight, Clarence Chamberlin and Charles Levine crossed the Atlantic from New York to Mansfeld in Germany in the WB-2 Columbia. In their triumphant tour they visited Budapest. This excellent aircraft, which went on to make many long-range flights, had been Lindbergh's first choice, having set an endurance record of 51 hours. The number 140 may be an old race number. The original destination, Paris, has been painted out and oddly Cottbus, where the aircraft stopped by on 7 June before arriving in Berlin, has been added. Built in 1928 as a CH-300, then restored and fitted with 420 h.p. P&W Wasp engine to CH-400 standard. Painted to represent the prewar record breaking Bellanca WB-2 NX237 with the "New York - Berlin" titles and number 140 it carried during its failed transatlantic flight on 4-6 June 1927. It never reached Berlin but landed at Eisleben, Germany instead. The smaller titles on the rear fuselage read "Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce", which organised this transatlantic challenge.

Registered in 1976, still current in 2017
