The "City of Boston" leaps off runway 36 at DCA. I saw my first jet aircraft in 1949 at a military airshow, and observed them at close range for several years during my duty with the USAF. The awesome performance of the 757 eclipsed any of the early military jets when it arrived on the scene in the mid eighties. Watching the steep noise abatement climbs out of DCA was an airshow every day.

City of Dallas was delivered to Northwest January 29, 1987. Although always owned by a bank or Trust Company, the 757 has always flown with Northwest and Delta Airlines after the two airliners merged in 2009. It's last revenue flight was on October 31, 2015 and then stored at Marana, AZ.

Delivered new to Northwest in November 1995.
