The HU-1A Iroquois was the initial production version of this iconic transport helicopter for the US Army. It already had the more commonly used "Huey" moniker before the designation was changed to UH-1 in 1962. This early aircraft is possibly marked for preservation some day.

A modern barnstormer.

Delivered January 31, 1980, this 737 was still new when photographed. Nordair elected to equip all of their 737s with the engine blow away jets that were developed for the 737 Combie. This aircraft would fly in Central and South America from 1991 - 2004. Unfortunately, it crashed in Afghanistan on March 8, 2005 when it apparently descended early for a non-precision approach to Kabul and hit a mountain.

This Beaver was delivered to distributor Hawker De Havilland Australia in March 1964. Registered VH-IDM in July for Aerial Agriculture Pty, it did agricultural work for most of the next 34 years. Coming back to Canada in C-GEDE in March 1999, the floatplane has been owned by Nigaani Air president Arthur Esquaga since June 1999 and periodically, like here, leased to Nigaani Air. It has a small Nigaani Air logo on the door.

This Charleston SC built 787 was delivered to Air Canada January 30, 2015.

As interest in the Deutsche de La Muerthe Cup Race revived in the 1930s, race car designer Ettore Bugatti began a design to compete in the speed competition. The Bugatti 100P was under construction when WWII intervened. Unfinished, the aircraft was moved from his Paris factory in 1940 as Germans advanced and stored in the countryside. In 1970 a collector in the USA bought the aircraft for the two Bugatti engines in the racer and sold the airframe for restoration. Donated to the US Air Force Museum in 1979, it was kept stored until donated to the EAA Museum in 1996 and a restoration completed.

Painted as wartime Harvard II AJ958 used by No. 39 Service Flying Training School at Swift Current, Saskatchewan, this Harvard 4 was originally with the Royal Canadian Air Force as 20415 .

A 1960 Aztec that came to Canada in 1973. The registration was cancelled in September 2001.

Delivered to Northwest Airlines October 6, 1986, this 757 flew it's last revenue flight with Delta Airlines on September 30, 2015. The aircraft was ferried to Arkansas International Airport in Blytheville, AK and scrapped. A new color scheme was being introduced at Northwest when pictured and the aircraft has an engine intake cowling mixing the new with the old.

Built as 44-77186 , this Dakota was transferred to the Royal Air Force as KP233. With the RAF until 1950, the aircraft came to Canada as CF-FAX in 1952. Golf Air operated it during 1979 - 82 after which it went to the USA as N266K with Century Airlines.

Henson Airlines was an Allegheny Commuter airline when it got this Dash 7 (N904HA) in May 1982. It became a Piedmont commuter when Piedmont airlines bought the carrier in 1983. The aircraft was sold back to DHC in May 1985 as the airline took deliveries of Dash 8s. Leased to Air BC by the end of May 85, it's pictured with remnants of the Piedmont colors on the engines. Returned to DHC in March 1988,. The airliner is current with Airkenya Express as 5Y-BMP at the time of uploading.

Elite Airways bought this former Atlantic Southeast Airlines / ExpressJet Airlines CRJ (N838AS) in October 2016.

Sander Geophysics registered this Cessna Caravan in 1996.

The USAF's Strategic Air Command began phasing out the B-47 in 1963 and this one went into storage at MASDC October 14, 1965. In 1974 the bomber was placed on display at the Eighth Air Force Museum, Barksdale AFB in Shreveport, LA. The museum is now known as the Barksdale Global Power Museum.

This Cub has the Whittaker rough field landing gear installed. Developed around 1948, the idea was later superseded by tundra tires more commonly seen on bushplanes today. Registered in the USA as N21375 in 1990, the aircraft was based in Alaska from 1996 to 2017 when the registration was cancelled.
