It was withdrawn from use as an apprentice trainer at Farnborough from 1986 and as a fire trainer at Manston by 1995, moving to the museum around 2000.

This is probably the headquarters of the South Korean VI army corps, which Eisenhower visited on 20 June 1960. 147179 was one of seven HUS-1Z (later VH-34D) VVIP machines. By October 1976 the frame had been SOC and was assigned to Koksijde for storage. At the end of the 1970 it operated for Meravo Luftreederei Fluggesellschaft MBH, Oedheim as D-HAUF but now hangs from the roof of Hall 2 at the Technik Museum Sinsheim.
