This 407 was delivered to the USAF in Jun'70 and flew temporary with the Royal Australian Air Force as 07 in the early 70s. After return it was assigned to the 57th FWW, 110th TFS and rebuild to F-4G in the late 80s, early 90s. It served as a Wild Weasel the 3rd TFW and the 190th TFS before retirement to AMARC (as FP1010). In 1996 the G was rebuilt to QF-4G and eventually shot down on 6 November 1997 as an aerial target while assigned to 82nd ATRS
