Built in 05.41 for US Navy as R5O-3 Bu.01006. Civilianised in 1950 as Lockheed 18 N60100. Modified to Howard 250 standard in 05.62.

This conversion of a Lockheed Lodestar was broken up at Chino by the early 1990s.

Built in September 1942 as a C-56E for USAAF as 43-3279. Sold in July 1945 as NC42013. Converted to Howard 250 standard in April 1965. Various executive owners. DBR 10 June 1977.

Unmarked at this time, this machine was later flown to a new owner in Texarkana, Arkansas.

Built in September 1942 for USAAF as C-60A 42-32186. Postwar used by Howard Aero in development work for the tri-gear Howard 250, before retro mods to tailwheel layout.

Originally delivered as an L-18 to the RCAF in 1943, this Lodestar was sold to the USA in 1949. It was converted to a Howard 250 in 1961 and operated as a deluxe business aircraft until sold to the Volunteer Squadron of the Confederate Air Force in 1981. Photographed in full warbird colors, the big twin would be destroyed in a non-fatal take off accident in 2004.
