On 14 August 1991, the aircraft was DBR when it stalled, rolled, landed heavily and overturned on approach to Sandtoft airfield, North Lincolnshire. The pilot escaped with minor injuries. Registration cancelled 21 October 1991. The damaged hulk was first noted at Adventure Island, where it reposes on the Crazy Golf Course, in June 1997, having previously been used for a similar purpose at Great Yarmouth.

Taken on charge as R7524 May 1941. Struck off charge and sold to Percival Aircraft 30 October 1946, registered G-AIWA 14 November 1946. Later flew in military scheme as R7524, which it was wearing on -9 June 1984, when it struck trees on landing at La Ferté Alais airfield after a flight from Biggin Hill. Damaged beyond repair, the wreck was abandoned in the woods there, where it gradually deteriorated and was eventually burnt. Cancelled -2 June 1989 as Destroyed.
