Built as a T-28B for the USN, Bu 138232 but apparently went straight to the Royal Thai AF as 55-138232. Rebuilt as an AT-28D for the Royal Lao AF as 38232, later 3416. Derelict at Thong Hi Hin AB, Xiang Khoang, Laos from 1975-1988. Recovered, trucked to Bangkok & shipped to Australia, December 1988. Stored at Essendon 1988-91. Trucked to Darwin for restoration, registered VH-DPT 14 Jan 1993. First flight, at Darwin, 26 Jan 1993.

'Huff n'Puff' at another Wide Bay International Airshow. Built to a 1951 USAF order as 51-3722. Converted to AT-28D standard and to R. Thai AF 1965-75. Also operated by Air America in Laos. To Philippine AF 1976-87. Civilianised and based Manila as RP-R280 1988 for restoration using parts from 51-3782. To Brisbane 1990 & restoration - ff 5 Aug 2001.

Early morning on the flight line at the Wide Bay International Airshow. 'Just Dreamin' is former USAF 51-7576 and Laotian Air Force 3401. Built in 1951, it was registered in Australia on 2 November 1994.

'Mekong Moon' taxying for another warbird adventure flight at the Wide Bay International Airshow. Built as a T-28A to a USAF order as 51-7521. Later rebuilt as AT-28D for the Royal Lao AF. Retired 1975, left derelict until acquired and shipped to Australia December 1988. Restored by Guido Zuccoli at Darwin from 1989-92, then sold to Arthur Scmidt 1993. Registered VH-DUK on 5 August 1993 and made first post-restoration flight shortly afterwards. Now based at Towoomba with Aerotec.
