This aircraft was scrapped in December 2012.

By 2002 this Cobra had been placed on display at McGhee-Tyson Airport near Knoxville, TN. It was still there by late 2016.

The USMC converted their AV-8As to AV-8Cs, with upgraded avionics, forward-looking passive radar, tail warning radar and increased VTOL performance. This upgrade may be the reason behinds its display here at the 1976 Japan International Aerospace Exhibition.
This particular aircraft was later transferred to VMA-213 and it was the first USMC Harrier to go into MASDC storage, on 15 Aug 1985. In June 1997 it went to Canada's National Aviation Museum at Ottawa-Rockcliffe Airport.

Registered 2 July 1973, ex D-HDCK. Cancelled 8 March 1990 on export to New Zealand. Was never registered there, becoming VH-JXO instead. Crashed 18 June 2010 near Villa Martelli in Buenos Aires.

Brand new helicopter, registered 13 September 1976 (ex N9982K). Unfortunately this Bell would not have a long life, crashing at a construction site in Yamamoto, just east of Sakata, Yamagata Prefecture on 13 May 1978 (cancelled 7 July 1978).

Registered 30 January 1976, cancelled 22 January 2004 on sale to the USA. Seen here in agricultural configuration, with tank and spray bars fitted. Still a JetRanger II in this photo, but later converted to a JetRanger III.
