This 1981 Big Lifter was originally registered N18096, then to Venezuela as YV-O-KWH-4, then back to the USA as N214HM, and finally N216PJ on 23 July 2013. It's stationed at Bendigo for the 2023-24 fire season and using the callsign 'Helitak 335'.

Used as an air tanker in Western Australia.

Operating from its base at Bendigo Airport is McDermott Aviation's Bell 214 N216PJ or Helitak 335.

At the 32e Salon International de L'Aeronautique et de L'Espace. This Big Bell was later exported to Norway as LN-OSG

Okanagan added this Bell 214B Big Lifter when they acquired Bow Helicopters of Calgary in 1979, mainly for that company's IFR operation. The helicopter is current with McDermott Aviation as N217PJ at the time of uploading

Brand new helicopter, registered 13 September 1976 (ex N9982K). Unfortunately this Bell would not have a long life, crashing at a construction site in Yamamoto, just east of Sakata, Yamagata Prefecture on 13 May 1978 (cancelled 7 July 1978).
