Cancelled as sold in Norway in February 2019 where it became LN-STC

After WWII production of the Fieseler Storch continued as MS.500 in France for the AdlA and in Czechoslovakia as the K-65 Čáp. This French example was previously D-EMIL and then D-EMWF and then F-BJHX. This latter registration was cancelled in November 1965 and the plane is now on display at this super museum.

A rarely seen Criquet (Storch). It is based at Péronne / Saint-Quentin (LFAG) according to the French CAA.

There is some debate about this Storch's true identity, but it is thought to be c/n 110064. It was sold for £24000 at the Philip's auction on 10 May 1983, then went to the USA where it became N2405P. This registration was cancelled on 11 February 2011. It was apparently delivered new to the Royal Swedish Air Force as Fv.3812. Other IDs suggested are D-EYWB (prior to delivery to Sweden) and N464FB. (It was reported in Wrecks & Relics 10 to have gone to the USA as N156FS after the closure of the Whitehall Theatre of War, but this has the c/n 4642.)

Delivered to Farnborough as AM101 5 Sept.1945. To RAE 30 April 1946, flew as AM101 to 12 May 1946 but as VP546 as from 15 May 1946. Flying from RNAS Ford, Lt.Cdr.Eric Brown used it for deck landings on HMS Triumph 28/29 May 1946, the only German aircraft to have landed on a RN aircraft-carrier. Allocated 7362M 26 July 1956 for possible use as ground instruction but found unsuitable. To Air Historical Branch collection 10 Oct.1956, to Coltishall ca.1963 until it went to the Historic Aircraft Collection at St.Athan June 1973. To Cosford 6 April 1989, where it has been displayed in recent years.

Despite the Storch's high operating costs that the Swiss were well aware of, Swissair bought this Czech-built machine in 1948. It was used it for photo flights and banner towing. It was sold in 1950 and stayed on the Swiss register until 1956. Photo from: ETH-Bibliothek Zürich

This Storch was 3818 of the Swedish AF and subsequently also wore the civil registrations OE-LDO, D-ELYN and D-ENPE. It is now on display in the WWII Gallery at this super museum.
