Correct BuNo is 91188. Aircraft made an emergency landing after engine failure into the surf off of Cocoa Beach, Florida, during the Cocoa Beach Air Show on April 17, 2021. The pilot escaped unhurt and the aircraft sustained probably substantial water damage.

Aircraft sustained fuel management problems (misidentified as a mechanical issue) during a low-level spraying flight out of Sussex, NB and attempted a wheels-up forced landing on McLaughlan Road / Highway 126 north of Moncton, NB, Canada. A wingtip struck a telephone pole and the aircraft swerved off the road into a field, sustaining significant damage. Normally prior to spraying a block there was a radio call for "spray check" at which time a full wing tank was selected and revs increased among other items. Pilot missed this call due to radio malfunction. The fuselage was trucked out the previous day. Pilot was unhurt.

Ex CF-KCG, Royal Canadian Navy 326, US Navy 69327. It was damaged beyond repair in a forced landing in Canada on 29 May 1975 following fuel starvation, and acquired by the IWM in 1977. It arrived at Duxford in November 1977 and eventually restored for exhibition in the American Air Museum, painted as 46214/X3 flown by George H. W. Bush.

Skyway Air Services of Langley, BC first acquired Grumman TBM-3s in the 1960s for spraying and fire fighting. The fire fighting division was spun off as Conair Aviation in April 1969 with a fleet of ex-RCN and US Navy single-engine Grumman Avengers which were later sold to Forest Protection in New Brunswick. Avenger CF-MUE/618 was photographed being washed at the BC Forest Service tanker base north of the Conair hangars at Abbotsford on July after attacking a receives a wash after a mission on July 6, 1975. It was exported to the USA as N40402 in 2001.

1945 Grumman TBM-3E bu 85632 first served in Okinawa. Retired by the US Navy in 1956, it became N7002C 1966 - 1974 with Air Tankers after conversion. Tanker B15 with Norfolk Aerial Spraying as C-GOBJ 1974 - 1989, the aircraft returned to the USA as N81865 as a warbird. A major restoration in 2010, N81865 currently wear the markings of its original WWII Marine Corp unit VMTB-234. N81865 was incorrectly listed on the USCAR as s/n 5632 (last four digits of its former BuNo).
