This Halifax C.8 was operated by Peteair from June 1948 until June 1949 when it was scrapped. Ex RAF PP328 and LN-OAS of Vingtor.

The last of 661 Halifaxes built at Ringway by Fairey Aviation. Another 369 were cancelled at the war's end. From Faireys 60 years ago.

BAAS Halifax VIII arriving from its base at Tame to pick up eight tons of newspapers for Dublin. Ringway's main runway is only 4200 ft long, so hard revving of the engines against the brakes, and crossed fingers, will be necessary to clear the far hedge! Ex RAF PP326. Withdrawn in May 1951.
