The Farmer-E is the all weather interceptor version of the MiG-19 and the only one that served with the Hungarian People's Army. In total, 12 of the type were in service based at Taszár with the 31st National Fighter Battalion between 1959 and 1974. This example is now on display at the super RepTár Szolnoki Repülőmúzeum.

The Farmer-E was the missile-carrying, cannon-less variant with this example being on display at the amazing Zruč Air Park.

The local museum houses some fine aircraft. For some reason most are presented on small walls.

The MiG-19 was the first Soviet production aircraft capable of level supersonic flight. The PM version (Farmer-E) entered production in 1957 and had the cannons removed and replaced by four Kaliningrad K-5M (AA-1 'Alkali') beam-riding missiles. This example is on display at the Central Museum of the Air Forces at Monino.

The MiG-19S day fighter was built in Czechoslovkia as the S-105, but the country's MiG-19PM interceptors were all imported from the Soviet Union. Museum inventory number 0118 is stickered on the nosewheel door.
