Delivered new (as a series 11) 4th Nov 1959 and sold to FB Ayer May 1980 for onward sale to TAE as EC-DKH but the sale fell through and the aircraft was stored at LFPG for many years and finally scrapped March 1985

Delivered new 29th Sep 1959 as a series 11 , converted to srs 51 and withdrawn from use KSFO Jan 1980, scrapped July 1981

Originally delivered to Delta Airlines in May 62 as N808E. To F.B. Ayer Jan 78. Acquired by Philippine Airlines May 78 and operated by them until May 83. It must therefore be assumed it was at MZJ either for maintenance or short-term storage.

The very first DC-8 pictured with it's last operator. First flight on May 30 1958, Douglas continually upgraded the aircraft during testing. It was the first DC-8-50 series aircraft when re-engined with P & W JT-3C turbo-fan engines in 1960. Since it was built on production tooling, the airliner was able to be sold to Trans International Airlines in 1962. Chartered by Lufthansa and leased to Canadian Pacific Airlines before it was sold to Delta Airlines in 1967. Leased by AeroMexico 1979 - 82, the aircraft was finally parked in Marana, AZ. It was slowly stripped of parts and later broken up.

Ex Delta Air Lines, it was acquired a couple of months earlier by Mackey International on lease from FB Ayer, but not yet painted. Returned to FB Ayer Aug 1980. Still in full Mackey livery when seen stored at Marana AZ in Oct 84.

Mexicana tiltes still cleary visible. Was XA-SIA and become YV-461C. Broken up in Opa-Locka 2009.

Del new to Delta Oct 59. To Aeromar Airlines Mar 85 as HI-452. To Agro Air Mar 91. To Interamericana Cargo Mar 93. Back to Agro Air International Aug 93, now as HI-595CA. Went out on several leases including Aerolineas Latinas (YV-810C), Midas Air (YV-505C). Registered to Agro Air Nov 98 now as N505FB. Leased out to Arrow Air circa 2000 and Fine Air circa 2001 (as N505FB). Retired May 2001.

Later operated with Agro Air, ATC Colombia, Fine Air and Arrow Air, all as N507DC. Retired Dec 2002.

Broken up in 1986

Reregistered N804CK in 1987 and converted to freighter.
