F-16A-20 with FMS serial 93-0767 is modified to F-16 Block 72V in 2022. Is is seen here blasting way towards the Philippine Sea and the north of the island of Taiwan.

This RF-5E with FMS serial 83-0091 pumps up its nosewheel strut at runway 03 to gain more lift during its take-off. The recce aircraft was delivered as a standard F-5E Tiger II to the RoCAF, but was modified as one of seven to RF-5E 'Tigergazer' by STAe in Taiwan after the RF-104G was retired.

F-16A Block 20 with FMS serial 93-0755. The Fighting Falcon is modified to F-16 Block 72V in 2020.

F-16B Block 20 FMS serial 93-0850, Modified to F-16B Block 72V in late 2020. The Viper was damaged at Hsinchu (Taiwan) after runway excursion on 31 August 2021. Current status unknown.

Former USAF 54-1499, delivered to RoCAF on 15 December 1961. It was returned to the USA for maintenance on 13 August 1967, and came back to Taiwan on 6 December 1967. First preserved at Taoyuan but later moved to this location at Hualien by 2007.

FMS serial 63-13254 and former Luftwaffe DA+..., KF-138 and 20+31. Sold to Taiwan as 4375 in 1983. After retirement preserved at Taoyuan, but later moved to Hualien and preserved at this location by 2007.

F-16A Blcok 20 with FMS serial 93-0799. It was modified to F-16 Block 72V in 2020.

This RF-5E with FMS serial 83-0085 gets some final checks from a technician before take-off. The recce aircraft was delivered as a standard F-5E Tiger II to the RoCAF, but was modified as one of seven to RF-5E 'Tigergazer' by STAe in Taiwan after the RF-104G was retired.

FMS serial 93-0846. This F-16B Block 20 was modified to F-16V Block 70. It was first reported as such in January 2021.

Turning towards runway 31L at homebase NAS Fallon, this F-16A is former USAF serial 92-0408 and also former AMARC FG0037. It arrived at the storage depot on 29 September 1993 as a brand-new F-16, following the embargo of the USA against Pakistan. It was intented to become 93-739 within the Pakistan Air Force. It was moved from AMARC on 21 February 2003 and became an adversary aircraft with Strike. It was withdrawn from service with the successor of the NSAWC, the Naval Air Warfighting Development Center in 2018. Fate ?

166867 was delivered to the US Navy in late 2008/early 2009 and flew since with VFA-122 (NJ-401 and NJ-207) before it was transferred to NSAWC (later became this center the NAWDC). From late 2010 to late 2018, the Super Hornet flew with the center. Was then transferred to VFA-81 (AB-400) in 2020 before arriving with VFA-37 in early 2023.

This old F-16A, former USAF serial 92-0409 is also former AMARC with inventory code FG0039. It arrived there as a brand-new aircraft on 20 December 1993 after the USA embargoed its delivery to Pakistan (planned as serial 93-740). It was stored for some years, and then transferred to the US Navy as an adversary aircraft. It left storage on 30 April 2003 and was assigned to the Naval Strike Air Warfare Center (NSAWC) at NAS Fallon (NV). The picture was made while the center was just redesignated into Naval Air Warfighting Development Center (NAWDC). This Viper still carries the old designation.

Former Schweizer Luftwaffe J-3019, delivered to the US Navy by May2004. First assigned to the US Marines Corps VMFAT-401 at MCAS Yuma (AZ) as LS-08, then became this striking tiger adversary camo bird with VFC-13 from June 2008.
