This old F-16A, former USAF serial 92-0409 is also former AMARC with inventory code FG0039. It arrived there as a brand-new aircraft on 20 December 1993 after the USA embargoed its delivery to Pakistan (planned as serial 93-740). It was stored for some years, and then transferred to the US Navy as an adversary aircraft. It left storage on 30 April 2003 and was assigned to the Naval Strike Air Warfare Center (NSAWC) at NAS Fallon (NV). The picture was made while the center was just redesignated into Naval Air Warfighting Development Center (NAWDC). This Viper still carries the old designation.

Once destined for Pakistan as 93740, this F-16A with FMS serial 92-0409 was transferred to the US Navy as 920409 and found a new home at NAS Fallon, where it served with the NSAWC.

Built for the Pakistan air force (serial 93740) but delivery stopped by a 1993 arms embargo. Placed in storage with a USAF serial. In 1998 it became one of 28 Pakistani F-16s set aside for the RNZAF and was to become NZ6532. In 2002 the new Labour government disbanded the RNZAF's fast jet operations. 92-0409 remained in storage at Davis-Monthan until the USN acquired it for adversary training about 2008.
