On 26th July 2014 this glider was taking part in a competition organised by Husbands Bosworth Gliding Centre, but at 16:02 hrs. it collided with another glider at about 4,000 feet. The outer portion of the left wing of G-IDER became detached which led to structural failure of the same wing at the point of attachment to the fuselage. The pilot had to bail out but landed safely in a field and did not sustain any serious injuries. The other glider was less damaged and its pilot was able to make a force landing at Bedford disused airfield. The registration G-IDER was cancelled on 6th August 2019.

The aircraft had previously been operated for United Express by Presidential Airways as N802XV, but had been stored at LAS after the Presidential bankruptcy the previous October. California Air Shuttle was a new airline based out of Oxnard, CA., with 2 two leased Metroliners, the other being N1010Z. Flights from Oxnard to Las Vegas started in January 1990 but were limited to Las Vegas as plans to add service to Bay Area airports failed to gain approval. Sadly the airline struggled to fill seats, and with increased fuel costs due the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, it ceased operations in December 1990, less than a year after starting.

This aircraft was carrying out radio calibration training at its Coventry base on 17th August 2008, and whilst making an ILS approach to Runway 23 it collided with Rand KR-2 G-BOLZ making a visual approach. On 31st July 2020 this aircraft was about to touch down at Cotswold (Kemble) Airport when the left wing dropped and touched the runway. The pilot attempted a go-around, but the aircraft landed to the side of the runway and travelled across the grass before colliding with a parked aircraft. No injuries were sustained, but both aircraft were substantially damaged and it was cancelled from the USCAR in January 2021. The other aircraft involved was Twin Comanche G-ATXD.
