1062 leads 1067 over Minhad air base

Built in 1958, and former G-APEY. Aircraft was scrapped at N'Djili in July 2008.

Three UN Mi-8s in front of very nice and busy background. Other helicopters are Mi-8Ts RA-24135 and RA-24146. All three possibly stored. UNO number unfortunately not readable. RA-27114 was written off on 2 November 2007 while on a cargo flight from Ganta (Nimba County) to Loguatuo (on the Liberian-Ivorian border) when the tail rotor came off, only three minutes after take-off. The helicopter that only had some 3,500 flight hours on the meters, crashed into trees at the Forfor rubber farm (on the outskirts of Sanniquellie town, 265 km north-east of Monrovia). Unfortunately, all thee crew were killed in the accident.

Aircraft was once delivered to Alitalia in 1967, was used by many companies since. In 2007 it flew out of DRC. Current status unknown

This 707 belonged to Interflight Airline Marketing from April 1998. Was broken-up from mid-2007 at Kigali.

MB326K modified to GB, possibly in storage with many other aircraft in N'Djili hangar. Somewhere in 2014 this aircraft was preserved at the base.

An-24 of unknown company in Rwanda. The green cheatline and green bird logo is unknown. But aircraft was possible used by Rwanda Air Force. Aircraft is withdrawn from use in 2008.

Rwanda bought several Mi-24P and Mi-24V's from Belarus. Also visible is Mi-24P RAF-0802.

Rare Mi-17. Helicopter crashed in South Sudan while servicing UN mission on 15 March 2019. Status unknown

Just crash landed at El Geneina when I overflew

Aircraft grounded since Nov 2007 and has not flown since. Last noted at Abidjan in May 2013, moved to Dagbe by Nov 2013 and broken up there.

Former Libyan Air Force MiG-23UB in hangar of FADRC(AF) at N'Djili. Aircraft become unservicable after rear ejection seat was accidently activated with visitor. Visitor and pilot, sitting next to cockpit on intake, died when ejection seat went through hangar roof.
