In 1974, the Canadian Armed Forces started taking delivery of new C-130Hs to bolster the fleet of older C-130Es. This one was delivered October 16, 1974. It was the first Canadian Hercules painted in camouflage in 1982. Pictured in that grey color scheme, it was to be the only one to use all greys. Later aircraft replaced the light grey with green. The transport was involved in a mid air collision with 130331 on March 29, 1985 during a three ship flypast at Namao, AB (CYED). Both aircraft crashed.
