This Sikorsky HSS-1N Seabat was retired by the Navy and stored at MASDC December 8, 1969. Sold as N46992 and acquired by the Mid Atlantic Air Museum circa 1997, the former HT-8 training squadron helicopter has been partially restored with a nose and tail from a couple of other military S-58s.
