FMS serial 72-1181 first flew on 3 July 1974 and was delivered to Germany on 21 August 1974. It was assigned to JG71 and flew later with JG74 (as pictured). It was withdrawn from use at Fürstenfeldbruck (Germany) on 12 December 2005 (with 6.479 flight hours). After a storage period, the aircraft was prepared for preservation at the base. Since July 2007 it is seen as such. 37+71 is seen here rolling down the runway of homebase Neuburg.
