To Roswell on 17 Dec 1998. Registration cancelled on 18 Dec 1998. Last noted on 07 Feb 2005 and later broken up.

Delivered new to Alitalia as I-DIRA on 06 Oct 1976. To People Express as N571PE on 06 Jan 1984. Merged into Continental Airlines on 01 Feb 1987. W/O at Newark on the ground on 07 Jun 1997. While being positioned the tail was broken. Noted being scrapped on 06 Dec 1997. Sabena 737-200 in the background.

Taken from the Queens building viewing terrace. This aircraft was delivered new to Tarom in 1974 so when I saw it it was only 4 years old ! In those days the Eastern European airlines were more likely to turn up with a Tupolev or Ilyushin but Tarom also had a fleet of 707's and 1-11's. Delivered new to Tarom as YR-ABC on 03 Jun 1974. To Amoko Airlines as 5N-KMA in Aug 2002. To First International Airways as 9G-IRL in Nov 2003. W/O at Entebbe on 19 Mar 2005. Crashed into Lake Entebbe in rain on its second attempt to land which was too low. The crew of five luckily survived.

Clipper Constitution. Delivered new to Pan Am as N532PA on 29 Mar 1976. To United Airlines as N142UA on 11 Feb 1986. WFU Jul 1989. Cancelled Dec 1995 broken up around 2000.

Originally delivered to Northwest Orient on 20 Mar 1967 as N373US. To Transair on 15 Oct 1974 as C-GTAI. To Bangladesh Biman as S2-ACA on 04 Feb 1977. To African Aircraft Corp as N8090Q in Feb 1989 and stored at Manston. To Faucett on 06 Jan 1990. Reregistered to OB-1400 in Apr 1990 with Aeronaves del Peru. Noted derelict at Lima in Oct 2001. Broken up by 2012. Taxiing by in the back ground is Gulfstream II 9K-ACY. In the distance is the old Pan Am hangar.

Delivered new to Iberia as EC-CFC on 29 Jan 1974. WFU at Madrid in Jun 1999 and noted being broken up in Oct 2001.

Probably operating a flight for CSA Czechoslovak Airlines. Photo taken from the Queens building viewing area. Delivered to the Czechoslovak Government as OK-BYS on 07 Mar 1972. WFU 26 Sep 1983 and transferred to Balkan Bulgarian Airlines as LZ-TUZ. WFU SOF in Jan 1998. Used as ground trainer for anti terrorist forces and last noted on 20 Jul 2020.

To TAT as F-BVTE on 01 Mar 1974. To Pakistan International Airlines as AP-BAO on 01 Jun 1979. Grounded Jul 2006. Sold to the Pakistan Navy around May 2007 for spares. Presumed scrapped.

Look at that low fence protecting the ramp at the old Hunting hangar ! Terminal 4 now occupies this site. Delivered new to the Swiss register as HB-VBM in May 1968. To Kuwait as 9K-ACQ in Aug 1974. To France as F-GCGU on 06 Sep 1979. Back to HB-VBM on 14 Apr 1981. To Poland as SP-FCP on 11 Jul 1997. To Luxembourg as LX-IAL on 19 Feb 1999. To the USA as N20MY on 05 Jan 2005. Finally to Russia as RA-09007 on 11 Feb 2005. Damaged beyond repair at Moscow SVO on 20 May 2005 when the under carriage collapsed during an emergency landing.

A very early model 300 leased from Dan Air. So early it is not even a B or C model. Originally delivered to Pan Am on 19 Oct 1959 as N721PA. To Dan Air as G-AYSL on 04 Mar 1971. Leased to British Airways in 1978 and to British Airtours in 1979. To International Air Lease on 02 Nov 1979 as N80703. Noted at Lasham in Feb 1983 and later scrapped.

Seen from the old Queens building overlooking the stands at Terminal 2. Originally delivered to Northwest Orient on 31 Aug 1961 as N725US. To Olympic as SX-DBI on 19 Apr 1972. Possibly the last B720 in service, noted in Aug 1983. Stored at Shannon Dec 1984 and scrapped Jul 1985.
