The RK-26 was a German twin-seat biplane trainer designed at the end of the 1920s. In December 1930 an agreement was signed for license production of the aircraft by the Swedish aircraft manufacturing company ASJA as the Flygvapnet was in need of a new trainer. They later ordered 25 aircraft and it was given the designation Sk 10. The plane was in service between 1932 and 1945 but was unpopular, as changes in the design that made the aircraft much heavier than the original, changing the flight characteristics drastically. Of the 25 delivered aircraft, 18 were w/o and this is the only survivor.

101 Squadron "the First Fighter Squadron", is indeed Israel's first fighter squadron. The unit was formed on 20 May 1948, six days after Israel declared its independence. 101sqn started operating with the Avia S-199, followed by the Spitfire and P-51 Mustang. The squadron started its jet-age with the Mystere IV that was succeeded by the Mirage IIICJ, IAI Nesher and IAI Kfir before the F-16C made its entrance. Here a First Fighter Squadron F-16C, normally based at Hatzor air base in Israel, is seen during exercise Blue Wings 2020, while on its way to the runway of Norvenich.

This Mi-24 was delivered to the Nationale Volksarmee in June 1982. The attack helicopter was assigned to Kampfhubschraubergeschwader (KHG) 3 "Ferdinand von Schill" and based at Cottbus. The Hind was transferred to the HEER on 3 October 1990 as 9615.

After pilots graduated with the Flying Training School at Hatzerim, and if they are assigned to fly the Black Hawk, they will transition to this type with 123 squadron at Hatzerim. This 536 is FMS serial 02-26937 and was bought in an order of 24 S-70A-55s.
