Photographer unknown. This former French AF machine was repainted into USAF marks and became gate guardian at RAF Wethersfield in 1976. It is now on display at the Militaire Luchtvaart Museum, Soesterberg, marked as 54-1871 of the 32nd TFS.

Flew into RAF Wethersfield from Chateaudun Mar 30, 1976 and returned to USAF, repainted in USAF marks and 1976 to gate guardian at RAF Wethersfield, England. USAFM. Airlifted to RAF Bentwaters Jan 20, 1988, supposedly to be sent to AMARC. Plane is now on display at Militaire Luchtvaart Museum, Kamp van Zeist, Soesterberg NL, marked as 54-1871, referring to USAF 32nd TFS stationed at Soesterberg AB, Netherlands from 1955 to 1994. ex French AF 42265. After return to the US it served as a gate guard at RAF Whetherfield, Initially it was marked 63000, but later repainted in its original markings 42265. In 1988 it was transported to RAF Bentwaters, by by 1991 is was seen at RAF Lakenheath ready for transport. It was transferred to the Dutch air force museum, where it still is, marked as '41871' representing a Soesterberg based 32 FIS Super Sabre.
