Delivered in 1991, this Jayhawk is stationed at CGAS Traverse City, MI.

Sikorsky MH-60T, 6008, from CGAS Traverse City, Michigan was part of the flying display at Airshow London 2023. The air station was established in 1945 and has search and rescue (SAR) responsible for all of Lake Michigan and a greater part of Lake Superior and Lake Huron. The air station transitioned from Sikorsky HH-3F Pelicans to HH-60J Jayhawk helicopters in September 1991, to five HH-65A Dolphins in 1995 (when the three HH-60Js were transferred to CGAS Astoria, Oregon), and to three MH-60T Jayhawks in the summer of 2017 to provide better long range all season SAR capability .

Delivered to the USAAF as 43-49195. To the Turkish Air Force as 43-6008 in 1946. Later marked as H-008. Withdrawn from use in 1985. To the Hava Kuvvetleri Müzesi by 1989.

Awaiting its next mission under dramatic skies at RAF Lossiemouth, this was one of several visiting Maritime Patrol Aircraft present for Joint Warrior 15-1.

No serious museum can be without a DC-3, and the large collection at Yesilköy has two. 43-49195 was built in Oklahoma City.
