Delivered to JBG37 at Drewitz in January 1980. The MiG was handed over to the Luftwaffe as 20+44 on 3 October 1990. It was eventually withdrawn from use at Drewitz in February 1991 and was preserved at the Automobil museum Fichtelberg from September 1995. In September 2011 it returned to neaby Drewtiz, a museum at Cottbus.

A nosewheel Harvard? Well, an NA-16. The fixed tailwheel gear NA-16 was introduced by Sweden before WWII. 52 Sk14s, plus 83 Sk14As with Piaggio engines, were built by ASJA and Saab. Some of these were modified to Sk14N standard with a nosewheel to train Saab J21 pilots. The tailwheel was simply retained.
