This Eagle was built was TF-15A and delivered to the USAF in 1976. It flew with several units (1st TFW with tailcode FF and 58th TFTW/LA) before is was redesignated to F-15B. It was then transferred to the 57th TTW that became 57th FWW/WA before it was assigned to the 48th FIS at Langley AFB (VA) from late 1982. The Eagle arrived at Tyndall by late 1984 and received tailcode TY within 2nd TFTS of the 325th TTW. From April 1992 the F-15B flew with the 2nd TFS of 325th FW. Its career ended at AMARC, it arrived on 26 March 1993, got inventory code FH0056. The dual seater was scrapped on 4 Feb'09.
