A52-319 at Perth after its delivery flight to its new home . Owned by Jimmy Woods, it was soon registered VH-WAD. That lasted a few weeks before its provisional CoA was cancelled and it was struck of the register. VH-WAD sat in the open at Perth Airport until 1971. In 1972 it was being shipped to a new US owner when a dispute over payment of shipping costs saw it offloaded in Melbourne. Sat rotting away in the open until 1979 when the Australian War Memorial bought it. Now restored and displayed at the AWM in Canberra. Photo from: State Library of Western Australia
