The last de Havilland Canada Twin Otter rolled off the DHC production line in December 1988. In 2006, Viking Air bought the type certificates for DHC designs no longer in production. While providing parts and service for these aircraft, Viking chose in 2007 to put the Twin Otter back into production. The first series 400 aircraft flew in 2010. In 2016, the 100th Viking produced Twin Otter flew using the same registration as their first. The aircraft is operated by sister company Pacific Sky Aviation providing training for Viking Air customers.

Became N400GZ [2] with Ground Zero Solutions.

Became N48TR with a private operator. (Situated on a disused taxiway hidden by grass.)

Destined for the US Army Golden Knights as a support aircraft and wearing the basic livery. Fuselage stripe filled in yellow and tail markings etc. were added by the customer.
