Originally built for Northwest Airlines in 1946 and here operating with Transair on DEW-line resupply flights for NORAD. It went to the US in the early 1970s and was later painted in USAF markings for a movie about the Berlin Airlift in 2002. After the movie it spent many years in open storage until scrapped at North Weald, Essex, England in 2015.
