Former Boeing construction number B-729, received FMS serial 74-22063 and was former RCAF 147006. This Chinook was delivered to the KLu on29 December 1995. After a long career, it was withdrawn from use on 23 April 2021. The Chinook became an instructional airframe at homebase Gilze Rijen. It is seen here in better times, at the Bergen Hohne range, awaiting permission to take off for a life firing sortie.

Once Canadian Air Force CH-147 with serial 147006 (c/n B729/G003). The Chinook was sold to the Netherlands and converted by Boeing to CH-47D from 1994, it received a new US serial 93-0664 and conversion number M3664 and company number B729. The helicopter was delivered to the KLu on 29 December 1995. This Chinook deployed with the Dutch 1(NL) Air Task Force to Kandahar in 2006.

In 2009, this Dutch Chinook was deployed to Bardufoss for exercise Cold Blaze. The helicopter was equipped with skis to prevent it sinking into the snow during snow-landings and is ready for take-off for a new training mission. In the background, another Dutch Chinook and a few Dutch Cougars can be seen.

Built as a CH-147 with cn G-006, it was allocated US Army serial 74-22063 but this was not used, it went to the Canadian AF as 147006 where it was taken on charge in May-1975. It was struck of charge in Dec-1991 and then allocated US Army serial 93-0664 for rebuild as CH-47D with a new cn M3664/NL-004 and delivered to the Netherlands AF as D-664, taken on charge in Dec-1995.
