Big Beautiful Doll seen at her last display. She was last in a mid-air collison with Skyraider F-AZDP during the finale at Flying Legends 2011, the Balbo wing, later the same day.

This Mustang suffered a mid-air collision with Skyraider F-AZDP during the Balbo finale of the 2011 Flying Legends air show at Duxford. The pilot escaped without harm, but the Mustang crashed. It was later brought to one of Duxford's hangars where it is seen two years later.

'Big Beautiful Doll' sadly involved mid-air collision with Skyraider F-AZDP during Flying Legends Balbo crash landed in nearby field. The pilot survived fortunately, the P-51D did not. This was to be the last time we would see this fabulous aeroplane.
