Seen parked between the hangars at the Scottish Aviation factory after a deep maintenance check. Saw wartime active service with the USAAF as 42-93096, participating in Operations Overlord (D-Day), Market Garden (Arnhem) and Varsity (Rhine Crossing). Flew initially with Finnair post war as OH-LCE. Used in the filming of "A Bridge Too Far", 1976. Served its later years of commercial service as N58NA. Now displayed in wartime colours in the National WWII Museum, New Orleans, Louisiana.
