The first Gipsy Swift, registered 28-Jun-1932 to Flt Lt E H Fielden (seen standing) who was personal pilot to HRH The Prince of Wales. Raced in the 1932 King's Cup Air Race, sold to Richard Shuttleworth, August 1935; T Richardson, Eastleigh, July 1936; S T Lowe, Gravesend, December 1937; H O Winters, Gravesend, September 1938. Given to ATC unit in Tonbridge, Kent, 1943. Presumed scrapped. Photo from Alex Henshaw's personal album over 40 years ago.
