In 1945, as Dakota IV KN250, entered military service with the RAF, where it survived a crash landing after engine failure on takeoff. Eventually joined Florida Air Cargo Inc. in 2015 as N271SE and is still active on Caribbean freight flights in 2023."

Delivered to the USAAF as 43-49860 then to the RAF as KN250 in 1945. Sold as G-APBC in 1957 and used by a number of operators. With Skyways from 1975 to 1980. To Missionary Flights as N26932 in 1981. Reregistered as N300MF in 1983. Sold as N271SE in 2012. To Florida Air Cargo in 2015 and still in service in 2022.

Airline name changed to British Midland Airways in 1964. Subsequently flew with Lydd Air and Skyways Cargo until export to the USA in 1981 for missionary work. Current with Florida Air Cargo as N271SE in 2021.

Delivered to RAF as KN250 in March 1945. Registered G-APBC in 1957 and operated by Derby Aviation from May 1958 until the airline was renamed British Midland in October 1964. Sold in May 1968.
