slide scan from the NK collection. - Cambrian Airways operated four BAC 1-11's; in this picture their G-AVOE wears the final orange-top colour scheme before the airline was integrated into British Airways in 1976. The airframe was last reported with Okada Air of Nigeria as 5N-AYS.

Possibly a fog diversion from Luton. Delivered to Autair as G-AVOE in 1967. To Cambrian Airways in 1969. Merged into British Airways in 1974. To Air Manchester as G-SURE then to British Air Ferries in 1982. To Dan-Air as G-AVOE in 1983 then to Britt Airways as N390BA in 1984. To Okada Air as 5N-AYS in 1987. Withdrawn from use at Benin City in 1990 and later scrapped.

Registered to Autair in June 1967 and here parked at their maintenance base along with another. In December 1969 it was acquired by Cambrian Airways and see Photo ID 22099 for a full history. Aircraft name painted small just above the nose flag.

"Halcyon Days" was operated by Autair International from new in March 1968 until sale to Cambrian Airways in January 1970. A Britannia Airways Bristol 175 is parked at the far end of the International Pier.

Named "Halcyon Days" on first delivery to Autair in 3.68, this 1-11 went on to Cambrian and BA before becoming G-SURE in 4.82 with the short-lived Air Manchester, in whose basic colours she is seen here. Served Cambrian from January 1970 until merged into British Airways in April 1976.
