Displaying during the full dress rehearsal for the 89th Air Force Day, this Harvard of Heritage Flight IAF stands out in its striking colors. This was RAF FS787 that was shipped as new to India in 1943. It went to the RIAF in Sept. 1947 and continued to fly till 1989. Thereafter, it went to the UK for restoration by Reflight Airworks and came back to India inside an IAF C-17 in July 2014. Harvards not only equipped Training Command's No. 1 and No. 2 Air Force Academy but also took part in conflicts.
